Information is not Knowledge - Albert Einstein
The five minds
- The Disciplined mind: The disciplinary thinking, one should work regularly and steadily on things and eventually you get better. Any practice will definitely build up. Just master the major ways of thinking. Always strive to be an expert. Don't just settle. Learn it, master it and be an expert.
- The synthesizing mind: What do you pay attention to and why? What do you ignore and why? If the answers you get do not make sense to you, you really have to start thinking more about what you're doing The synthesizing mind gets information from disparate sources, understands and evaluates that information thoroughly and put it together in ways that it makes sense to the synthesizer and also to others.
- The creating mind: This mind puts forth new ideas, poses unfamiliar questions and conjures up fresh ways of thinking.
- The Respectful man: This mind welcomes differences between individuals and between human groups, tries to understand people and seek to work effectively with them. Disrespect is no longer a variable option. We are all different, respect people.
- The Ethical mind: This requires an abstract attitude. This ponders the nature of one's work and the need and desires of society in which we live. It is beyond self-interest and how citizens can work unselfishly for the lot of all.
