Look at the other end of the spectrum

To fully appreciate the power of gratitude, we might also look at the other end of the spectrum. The absence of gratitude leaves a mark on performance, morale, and most certainly the bottom line. A simple thank you is one of the most powerful form of recognition available, and it costs nothing. The absence of gratitude, on the other hand, can be very expensive.
