How to control your thoughts - In law of attraction by Robert Rigsby

The law of attraction states that what we focus on we attract into our lives. Our focus is driven by our thoughts and feelings. So how can we make sure our thoughts are pulling us in the right direction?

Here are a few tips to help you with your thoughts and feelings:

  1. Accept that you can not control your thoughts: It sounds crazy yea? but it is the truth. You can not always control your thoughts and trying to force it can actually cause you to think it more. Try not to think about a certain thing, tell yourself you won't be thinking about it and you know what happens, you think about that thing the whole day. So, if you have a problem about something and you can't stop thinking about it, you need to accept it and move on.
  2. Replace every negative thought with a positive thought: Once you have accepted that thought actively replace it with a corresponding positive thought. For instance, if you are constantly worrying about ''not having a enough money '' this thought is negative already, you can replace it with ''what can i do today to save money or what can i do to make some extra money'' these thoughts are positive.
  3. Prime your mind to be positive with affirmations: Affirmations are a great way to put yourself in a positive state of mind. An affirmation is a short phrase that you can say to yourself at anytime to focus your thoughts on your desired outcomes. Affirmations such as ''everyday i am attracting money into my life.'' or '' i believe completely that i'm attracting some positive people in my life today'' are great way to prime your mind for positivity. Everyday, choose some positive affirmations that will help you start your day with them and also revisit them during your day. You can right them down and place them where you can see them.
  4. Learn to meditate: A lot of people look at meditation as a waste of their time but the true is that mediation is also a way of controlling our minds. When you meditate the goal is to clear your mind of all thoughts which as we know is very difficult. By meditating daily you will learn the skills to help you have more control over your thoughts and better understanding of how your mind works.
